Pentair has an opportunity for a Technical Product Support Specialist to join our Conroe, TX team. In this role, you will support the full product lifecycle for engineered-to-order filtration products, serving as a technical subject-matter expert and a key partner to Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations.

This position plays a critical role in product development, application support, and customer solutions while ensuring alignment with business, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine materials of construction and product configurations based on customer requirements, cost targets, and profitability.

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for assigned product families, supporting internal teams, sales partners, and customers.

  • Support RFQs and new product concepts by identifying optimal technical solutions for customer applications.

  • Contribute to new product development through research, Voice of the Customer (VOC) activities, and specification development.

  • Direct modifications to existing product designs and support product rationalization initiatives.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Application Engineering, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Support product launches and commercialization efforts in partnership with Product Management.

  • Maintain accuracy of product documentation, including Installation/Operation Guides, Performance Data Sheets, labels, and BOM data.

  • Communicate product changes to customers and provide collateral support for product literature, launch kits, competitive alerts, sales communications, and product training.

  • Monitor competitive products and market activity to help strengthen competitive positioning.

  • Provide technical support to Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams, including manufacturing support, customer issue resolution, and recertification activities.

  • Participate in corrective action teams as needed to resolve product or quality issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree ina science or engineering discipline.

  • 5-8 years of product, technical, or engineering experience in a manufacturing or engineered products environment

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to support complex products and applications

  • Experience working on cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and JDE or SAP.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $71000- $131800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
