Business Systems Analyst Intern

The Business Systems Analysis focus specializes in the evaluation of business problems and potential for automated solutions. Assists in identifying, evaluating and specification development for systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet requirements. Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing for systems that meet business needs.

• Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
• Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner.
• Develop user flows, process maps, and requirement documents to clarify business needs and system interactions
• Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements.
• Help track and communicate requirement changes, decisions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Job Complexity: Works on projects of limited scope with detailed instructions.
• Required Supervision: Requires guided leadership and detailed instruction from manager and more senior team members on day-to-day work. Takes ownership of work and applies general practices and processes to resolve routine issues.
• Skill / Knowledge: Learns to use professional concepts and seeks assistance, when needed.
