Associate Manufacturing Technician - Automated Medical Device Production

Location: Acton, MA

Pay Rate: $27.60 per hour

Shift: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

We are seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician to support highly automated medical device manufacturing operations in Acton, MA. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in advanced manufacturing, automation equipment, and cleanroom production environments.

In this position, you will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain sophisticated production equipment used in robotics, laser welding, heat staking, PCB handling, metal stamping, and high-speed discrete assembly. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, equipment reliability, and on-time production in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform equipment setup, operation, repair, and preventive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot automation, robotic systems, and machine faults
  • Use Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to monitor and adjust process controls
  • Support process validation, new product transfers, and equipment qualifications
  • Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanroom standards
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Generate corrective and preventive work orders as needed



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Proficiency in English and basic math skills
