Precision in Every Press - Crimping Technician (3rd Shift)

We are seeking one skilled Crimping Technician to support automated production equipment in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate and troubleshoot precision machinery while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Hours & Pay

Shift: 3rd Shift

Pay Rate: $24.15 per hour

What You'll Do



  • Perform equipment setup, operation, minor repairs, and daily preventative maintenance
  • Maintain raw material feeds and clear machine stoppages on automated equipment
  • Use Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to monitor and adjust process controls
  • Troubleshoot mechanical errors and safety issues using structured problem-solving methods
  • Prepare raw materials and ensure timely job completion to meet production schedules
  • Support new product transfers, process development, and equipment validations
  • Use measuring instruments to verify tolerances and product specifications
  • Work from production specifications, work orders, and supervisor instructions
  • Follow standard operating procedures for material handling, documentation, packaging, and shipment preparation
  • Maintain compliance with GMP and quality standards
  • Notify leadership of discrepancies affecting safety or product quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing workspace
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions



What You Bring



  • High school diploma or Associate degree with 2-4 years of manufacturing experience
  • Strong English proficiency (reading, writing, and communication)
  • Experience operating and maintaining automated machines and production equipment
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and gauge blocks
  • Knowledge of production processes, raw materials, and quality control techniques
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
  • Basic math skills, including arithmetic and algebra
  • Experience with discrete assembly, robotics, optical gauging, or video microscopes preferred
  • Ability to stand for at least 75% of the shift and walk up to 50% of the shift
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently
