Full-time Salary Range: $51,001,60 - $100,152.00
The Transfer Coordination Specialist (TCS) serves as the highly visible and critical role within the communications center, a 24/7 function that provides rapid and efficient transport and coordination of emergency patient referrals. Primary responsibilities include: 1) Ensuring high-level customer service to all clients, both internal and external, throughout the patient referral process. 2) Receiving, documenting, and communicating time-sensitive clinical data from a multitude of sources. 3) Coordinating complex ground and air transport logistics and internal response teams for medical emergencies. 4) Continuously monitoring regional and Federal emergency medical communications systems; receiving and transmitting emergency and urgent information via radio and telephone utilizing multiple computer systems to track, document, and facilitate these activities. The incumbent is comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with a passion and desire to continually provide high-quality service while performing multiple simultaneous functions. Successful individuals hold strong critical thinking skills, are proficient in synthesizing verbal information, and are able to interpret and apply detailed policies and procedures. Qualifications
