This Position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Specialist

Your role and responsibilities:

As a Master Schedule Planner, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for conversion of supply plan into a master production schedule which can be executed. Each day, you will translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule. You will also showcase your expertise by establishing key performance indicators of master plan accuracy.

This is an onsite position based in Pinetops, NC.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions group in Pinetops, North Carolina. Main stakeholders are Internal and External customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensuring the interaction with a firm's functional managers, and tracking and maintaining the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.

  • Assembling master schedule report that encompasses performance against the business plan, shipment plan, inventory plan, and production plan.

  • Identifying current planned level of demand and creating tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand.

  • Scheduling supply based on the product mix and providing accurate commitment dates to the customer service team across multiple product lines.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience OR Associate degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management AND 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Alternatively, this role could be filled with a High School /GED AND 8+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Requires understanding of supply management and transportation matters and related policies.

  • SAP Experience and technical ability to create new tools or processes that improve the planning/purchasing/scheduling process.

  • Requires ability to respond effectively to unforeseen developments and initiate actions to reduce adverse impact.

  • Interfacing with other groups on matters that may involve negotiations requires ability to communicate effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Knowledge of bill of materials and routings

  • APICS CPIM, or a plan for achievement of certification.
