Key Duties below

HR M&A Operations role involves supporting several key transaction activities.

Be the hands-on execution partner for the HR M&A PM, translating project plans into reliable transactional outcomes and removing operational risk.
Execute responsibilities in close partnership with TA, Legal, HR M&A Team, and other cross-functional groups external to HR.
Gathering, validating, and sharing HR operations data such as Target employee records, payroll cycles, pay dates, and previous terminations during the integration planning process.
Understanding, inventorying, and sharing processes like Target onboarding and offboarding with the Ops & Services Workstream.
Identifying operational risks such as cutover windows and payroll timing conflicts, and documenting mitigation steps.
Acting as a liaison with Ops & Services Workstream Leads and Team Members on deliverables defined in HR M&A Playbook - HR Ops & Services Workstream.
Utilizing the HR M&A Playbook to build cutover runbooks, transaction checklists, project plans, and executing them accordingly.
Executing the HR M&A Playbook to build, audit, distribute, and track offer letters and onboarding documents by jurisdiction.
Coordinating with the HR M&A PM and HR Technology Workstream Team on data builds, audits, and migration reconciliation.
Ensuring all acquired employee personnel files are transitioned to the appropriate spot.
Assisting in the transition to steady-state HR operations, including knowledge transfer to Ops & Services operational teams.
Capturing HR Operations lessons learned to update HR Playbooks for future transactions.

The HR Operations role in M&A is very much execution-centric, responsible for preventing high-impact failures that could undermine integration success. The ideal candidate would blend process execution discipline, solid systems and data skills, practical judgment, and a service orientation to ensure a smooth employee transition. The priority would be an individual who is a systematic thinker, calm under pressure, and is comfortable in the ambiguity of a M&A transaction

Candidate should have at least 5 year's experience in HR operations or HR Generalist role.
