The Analyst, Procurement Supplier Audit supports Procurement Governance by conducting detailed reviews and audits of supplier contracts and related transactions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance and Processes, this role is responsible for assessing compliance with commercial terms, internal policies, and relevant regulations. The Analyst identifies financial risks, overpayment recovery opportunities, and control gaps, providing insights and recommendations that strengthen procurement practices and enhance overall compliance and accountability across the organization.


What You'll Do:

  • Audit supplier contracts and contractrelated transactions to verify:

    • Compliance with commercial terms and conditions
    • Accuracy of pricing, rates, rebates, and incentives
    • Correct billing, cost recovery, and financial calculations


  • Identify overcharges, noncompliance with contractual commitments, and potential control weaknesses.
  • Document audit findings and prepare clear, defensible reports that outline issues, root causes, financial impact, and recommended actions.
  • Communicate audit results to internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Track, validate, and report on the status of corrective actions, recoveries, contract adjustments, and remediation activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to resolve audit findings and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate audit workpapers, ensuring all reviews and evidence meet documentation and governance standards.
  • Support process and control improvements related to contract management, payment accuracy, procurement governance, and supplier performance oversight.
  • Contribute to contract risk assessments, audit planning activities, and the development of annual audit priorities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or an equivalent certification are considered strong assets.
  • Additional training or coursework in audit, compliance, or contract management is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in contract auditing, internal audit, compliance, or related financial or governance functions.
  • Demonstrated experience applying contract audit frameworks, audit techniques, and riskbased assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Canadian statutory payroll taxes and U.S. unemployment insurance tax requirements.
  • Strong understanding of contract pricing structures, commercial terms, and supplier billing practices.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (preferred).
  • Industry experience in construction, energy, agricultural inputs and services, or similarly complex operational environments (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and criticalthinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data, legal/contractual language, and assess financial impacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing clear, defensible audit reports and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented, able to manage multiple audit files concurrently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and sound professional judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to work independently in a governancedriven environment.
  • Effective collaborator able to work across functions such as Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $79,100 - $135,500. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
