What to Expect
The Energy Remanufacturing Associate Manager is responsible for leading our Gigafactory New York (GFNY) Remanufacturing operations team's activity, including executing RCAs, fulfilling Service manufacturing requirements, maintaining our equipment and processes, and growing the team to iterate and improve our RCA and manufacturing execution. You will lead a dynamic team of Supervisors, managing operations and metrics in critical areas of the Manufacturing floor. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with our manufacturing and operations teams, interfacing with Engineering, NPI, and Material Flow, to ensure production goals are being met.
What You'll Do
- Lead the GFNY Energy Remanufacturing operation's team and define bespoke development plans for each member in the organization to support their professional and personal growth, including setting expectations for each member's performance
- Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the work areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations
- Maintain a culture that prioritizes safety and quality through communication, action, and accountability
- Ensure that Remanufacturing processes and guidelines are followed at all times and conduct regular reviews of the process, and iterating to make improvements whenever required by business needs
- Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning and improvement
- Own headcount and resource planning for projects currently in progress and planned expansion activities
- Interact, integrate, and drive results across cross-functional teams in engineering, supply chain, quality, production, and executive leadership
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineeringor equivalent experience
- Evidence of exceptional ability managing multiple complex programs/projects simultaneously
- Minimum 7 years experience in engineering, program management, and/or manufacturing
- Executive level communication skills, both verbal and written to both technical and non-technical team members
- Thorough understanding of product validation processes, production operations, DFM, material movement,etc.
- Clear understanding of how the manufacturing validation process runs in relation to new products (methodology, validation plans, associated KPIs)
- Outstanding problem solving skills; well versed in various problem solving methodologies

Expected Compensation
- Supervisor Manufacturing - $86,400 - $129,600/annual salary
- Associate Mgr Manufacturing - $100,800 - $151,200/annual salary
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
