What to Expect

The Lead Equipment Maintenance Technician uses their knowledge in industrial mobile equipment to sustain production equipment processes. The LeadEquipment Maintenance Technicianwill respond to breakdowns of industrial mobile equipment and make repairs as quickly as possible. The Lead Mobile Equipment Maintenance Mechanic diagnoses the root cause of machine breakdowns and performs preventative maintenance to optimize machinery uptime. This is a physically demanding job requiring walking and standing all day, as well as bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lying on the ground intermittently throughout the day. In addition, the technician may wear a fall protection harness while working from heights or from a suspended position.The Lead Equipment Maintenance Technician must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and use wrenches, screwdrivers, and other hand tools and power tools.


What You'll Do
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial mobile equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, etc.) to ensure operational reliability
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical failures in gas, LP, diesel, and electric-powered equipment to minimize downtime
  • Conduct safety inspections and enforce compliance with OSHA/LOTO standards to maintain equipment integrity
  • Fabricate, assemble, and modify mobile equipment, fixtures, and prototypes in a shop environment
  • Respond to repair requests and resolve equipment malfunctions or damage through corrective action
  • Weld and prepare parts per technical drawings and cut lists to support maintenance and fabrication tasks
  • Analyze root causes of equipment failures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions

What You'll Bring
  • High level of safety consciousness
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience preferred
  • Having a working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical fuel systems and/or charging systems
  • Welding and Metal Fabrication/machine shop experience(MIG/TIG welding, blueprint interpretation)
  • Familiarity with diagnostic/troubleshooting software
  • Command of English language, both written and verbal

    Expected Compensation
    $44.45 - $60.23/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
