*Location: *OnSite in* *Ashland, MO *Pay: *$19.00/hr-$26.00/hr *Work Environment* * 100% onsite at the client location. * This role supports fleet operations across multiple states and communicates regularly with corporate leadership. *Compensation and Benefits* * Pay Rate: $19-$26/hr (W2) * Duration: 9month contracttohire * Conversion Salary (If converted to full time): $60,000-$70,000 * Benefits (if eligible): Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, 401(k), Voluntary Life, Disability, Transportation Benefits, EAP, PTO/Sick Leave *About the Role* We are seeking a handson, customerfocused Fleet Operations Coordinator to support a major client program focused on daytoday vehicle fleet management. This position blends operational oversight, customer engagement, and field coordination. You will manage fleet readiness, work closely with vendors, ensure service documentation is accurate, and contribute to fleet efficiency and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates have experience with vehicle rental operations, fleet management, or logistics - and thrive in fastpaced environments that require attention to detail and strong customer-facing skills. *Key Responsibilities* *Daily Fleet Operations* * Manage variable fleet units across assigned territories * Perform detailed pre and postservice inspections * Coordinate vehicle cleaning, detailing, and refueling * Schedule mechanical and body repairs with approved vendors * Maintain accurate documentation of all service activities * Ensure vehicle readiness, safety, and operational compliance *Client & Vendor Engagement* * Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and fleet personnel * Provide daily customer support and recommend efficiency improvements * Communicate fleet health, service needs, and unit availability * Collaborate internally to strengthen program performance *Required Skills & Experience* * 1-2 years managing rental or fleet vehicles * Understanding of maintenance, repair, and fleet processes * 2-5 years customer service or account support experience (B2B ideal) * High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred * Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Ability to drive and stand/walk up to 8 hours * Weekend & holiday availability * Experience with rental or fleet software preferred * Strong communication, professionalism, and integrity *Top Skills - Must Haves* * Fleet Management * Fleet Maintenance / Vehicle Rental * Operations / Logistics * Customer Support *NicetoHave Skills* * Excel & data entry accuracy * Client support or account coordination background * Experience with Enterprise, Penske, UHaul, or similar rental environments *What's in It for You* * Opportunity to work with one of the most recognized leaders in fleet and operations management * Company vehicle provided during the contract and after direct hire * Growth-focused environment with long-term career potential * Hands-on operational role with visible impact on daily fleet performance * Chance to contribute to process improvement, efficiency, and customer satisfaction *Ideal Backgrounds* *Strong Fits* * Fleet Operations Coordinators / Managers / Supervisors * Logistics Coordinators (automotive preferred) * Terminal Managers * Management Trainees * Branch Managers from rental or vehiclebased operations *Also Considered* * Strong Customer Service Representatives ready to transition into operations *Pay and Benefits* * The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr. * Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
