Aon is looking for a Underwriting Specialist II (SCU Underwriter E&A) !

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our K&K Insurance Sport business group within Aon Affinity. This is a hybrid position based out of our Fort Wayne, IN office.

Your Impact as an Underwriter

This position handles automatically renewed accounts. There is a high volume of accounts to be renewed and serviced by the underwriter. Policies should be send out prior to state regulation dates.

Essential Job Functions

• Process automatic renewals.
• Review and evaluate renewal business and recommend appropriate actions to attain premium rate and loss ratio objectives.

• Review policy forms used in specific programs to ensure consistency and keep producers informed regarding coverage issues;

• Complete a variety of underwriting assignments at the direction of the Underwriting Manager or Underwriting Director and SVP.

Requirements

• P&C License; must be obtained with in 6 months of start date
• Preferably 3-5 years of insurance industry experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate education and/or work experience

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $43,000 to $50,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
