Overview
Establishes and implements efficient project plans and key results workflow delivery that enable effective coordination, monitoring, and performance assessments for Risk Adjustment initiatives. Activities include, but are not limited to, designing efficient data workflow approaches, data collection and analysis, metric and reporting development, tracking project activities, and helping to ensure the overall success of Risk Adjustment initiatives. Strong coordination and communication with internal and external/vendor stakeholders to ensure project targets, timing and costs are met and any issues are identified and resolved. Work will include managing multiple projects at one time that are required to adhere to strict CMS deadlines.

What You Will Do
- Establish detailed project plans including scope, objectives, and timing. Ensure all activities and operational components are designed and executed to achieve Risk Adjustment strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Work with Risk Adjustment team members and other stakeholders to define and map core processes for project deliverables. Recommend efficiencies and process improvements when appropriate.
- Develop forecasts and track performance metrics against forecast targets. Leads implementation efforts for new vendor or process onboarding from discovery and requirements through design, build, test, go-live and post-launch support. Identifies and responds to changing project circumstances and communicates issues to stakeholders.
- Utilizing analytics and data reporting, identifies trends toward project goals as well as any potential risks to project completions. Identifies and responds to stakeholders as appropriate and communicates issues to project leadership. Proposes solutions and implements mitigation activities as needed.
- Creates and communicates reporting, presentations and updates on project status to management and other stakeholders.
- Oversees and participates in vendor governance meetings and interdisciplinary/interdepartmental work groups. Assists in facilitation of work groups as needed.
- Develops Risk Adjustment Department Policies and Procedures in accordance with Compliance Regulations and Oversight.
- Willingness to support VNS' mission in serving its members and to build knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare Risk Adjustment processes.
- Exhibits flexibility and a team-player approach to "pitch in" whenever and wherever is needed.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field or the equivalent work experience required
Work Experience:
- Minimum of two years of business experience managing and leading various projects required
- Risk Adjustment, Healthcare Operations, Data Analysis and/or healthcare system knowledge required
- Project management and facilitation skills with proven ability to complete projects in accordance with outlined scope, timeline and budget required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality required
- Expert collaborative, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop accurate and appropriate communications for all levels of management required
- Strong problem-solving skills exhibited by the ability to approach complex, ambiguous business issues with creative ideas and solutions required
- Demonstrated ability to build cross functional relationships, which includes negotiation and persuasion skills required
- Ability to work in high paced environment, handling multiple responsibilities and projects required
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Office including analytical and project management tools required
Pay Range
USD $93,400.00 - USD $116,800.00 /Yr.
