As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Barstow, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government human services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to issues with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government services location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas for unusual activity, assisting with visitor direction, queue management, and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
