The University of Virginia's number one ranked Department of Student Health and Wellness (SHW) provides a comprehensive range of medical, mental health, well-being, and disability support services to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. The University of Virginia's Medical Services, a unit within the Department of Student Health and Wellness, is seeking an Inventory Senior Assistant. The Inventory Senior Assistant supports the operational needs of Student Health & Wellness by ensuring medical supplies, equipment, and materials are accurately tracked, properly stored, and readily available. This role performs routine to moderately complex inventory tasks with moderate supervision, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment. The position maintains professional working relationships with staff, vendors, and campus partners to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operational practices.

About the Position The anticipated hiring range for this position is $18-$24/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week, benefits-eligible position with UVA benefits.The selected candidate will pass a background check and drug screen. This position will not sponsor applicants for work visas now or in the future. The role requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently traveling; repetitive motion (computer tasks); proficient communication, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs.
