This position offers... * Employee Assistance Program - 24/7 counseling services, legal assistance, & financial consultation for you and your household at no cost * Mileage Reimbursement - Company paid for work functions requiring travel * Employee Discounts - Hotels, Theme Parks & Attractions, College Tuition * Workplace Culture - An environment cultivating employee wellbeing, valuing each individual's humanity, and actively promoting a healthy, joyful workforce * Additional Perks & Benefits - Scroll down to bottom of this post to learn more Key Responsibilities: * Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for diverse patient populations * Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans * Provide clinical leadership and consultation, supporting team members in diagnosis, case formulation, and treatment strategies * Supervise and maintain collaborative practice agreements with nurse practitioners and physician assistants * Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care to promote active participation in recovery * Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care using evidence-based practices * Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical supervision, and quality improvement initiatives * Respond to on-call responsibilities for emergency psychiatric care (with additional compensation) * Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record system * Support efficient practice operations, including productivity goals, billing accuracy, and compliance with policies and procedures Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: * Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school required * Completion of a Psychiatry residency program required * 0-3 years of psychiatric clinical experience preferred * Board eligible in Psychiatry required; Board certification in a psychiatric specialty preferred * Unlimited license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee required Additional Qualifications: * Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams across verbal, written, and virtual formats * Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working in collaborative healthcare environments * Strong knowledge of psychopathology, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based psychiatric treatment * Ability to complete clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards * Commitment to maintaining licensure and continuing medical education requirements * Ability to respond effectively to emergent situations and manage patient care independently and collaboratively Physical Requirements * Sit for extended periods (approximately 80% of the time) * Stand periodically throughout the workday (approximately 20% of the time) * Perform occasional bending, kneeling, and squatting * Drive occasionally for professional responsibilities * Lift and carry items occasionally as needed Time Type: Full time
Pay Range: $212,300.00--$318,400.00
