As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail shopping location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with shoppers, tenants, and guests through strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or property concerns until additional resources arrive.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and/or other access points as assigned, observing for suspicious behavior and reporting concerns according to post orders.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to the site contact, and support security-related investigations with documented details when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Being able to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
