Now Hiring: Converting Operator - Tier Four Location: Sussex, WI Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM Join Our Team as a Skilled Converting Operator! Pregis is seeking an experienced Machine Operator who thrives in a hands-on, fastpaced environment. This Tier Four Converting Operator role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex machinery, staying active, and contributing to a high-performing team. What You'll Do As a Converting Operator, you will play a key role in keeping our production lines running smoothly by: Setting up and operating converting equipment according to production specs & safety procedures Performing machine startups, shutdowns, and basic troubleshooting Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment Operating electric pallet jacks, roll lifts, and hoists Completing production documentation accurately Performing quality checks in alignment with the Pregis Quality Management System Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area Supporting the team and performing additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For We want someone who brings both experience and initiative: Must-Have Qualifications Proven machine operator experience (5+ years preferred) Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and basic mechanical troubleshooting Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and standard safety protocols Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery Basic math and computer skills Dependable, quality-focused, and committed to safe work practices Preferred High School Diploma or GED Experience operating roll handling equipment (hoists, roll lifts, pallet jacks) Work Environment This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy being hands-on and staying active in a production environment.
