Job Description

The Director of Analytics, Professional Services is responsible for leveraging Visa's data insights into actionable tools and services for Visa and our customers. This includes supporting the development of self-service reporting and analytic tools, recurring business reports, ad-hoc analytics, and other data functions that enable performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and informed business decisions.

The Director role assists in managing Visa's risk models in alignment with Visa's model risk management framework. Directors help ensure compliance with model risk management policies, guidelines, and procedures, and support escalation of model changes or issues to Model Risk Management.

Essential Functions

  • Support development of tools and strategies for monitoring data quality and integrity.
  • Assist in creating and managing recurring business reports on Visa products.
  • Provide analytic and reporting support to customer success and client management teams.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analytics for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and fraud pattern identification.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Visa's self-service analytics and reporting services.
  • Collaborate on the use, development, and management of models and associated risks, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for model-related questions and coordinate with relevant teams.
  • Evaluate new data sources and features for potential model improvements.
  • Maintain communication with Model Risk Management and other stakeholders on new models and updates.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to Visa's guidelines and transfer all model materials to Visa.
  • Assist in documenting model implementation plans and coordinating releases with product and validation teams.
  • Provide necessary documentation for validation and sign-off processes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Offer input on modeling approaches, data sources, and design.
  • Review model results and provide feedback to developers.
  • Maintain archives of model documentation and backup versions as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel10-20% based on client needs

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

***U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 176,000.00 to 299,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
