Warehouse Technician Job Duties:
*Unloads deliveries of goods at the Storeroom in the safest manner, using forklifts, dollies, or by hand.
*Inspects delivered items to identify any potential damages and communicates any damages to the Storeroom Supervisor in a timely manner.
*Confirms that the quantity of delivered goods matches the quantity, and general description, noted on the shipments packing list.
*Completes the electronic receipt of delivered goods into SAP against each Purchase Order.
*If the goods are maintained in Storeroom Inventory, place delivered items in their proper Storeroom storage location based on review of SAP information.
*If the goods were directly ordered, and not maintained in Storeroom inventory, notify the requestor that their material has been delivered to the Storeroom.
*Electronically attach signed supplier packing lists to each Purchase Order.
*Reviews requests from plant personnel for goods, retrieves the requested items, enters the disbursement data into SAP, and stages the items to either be picked up directly by the requestor, or to be delivered into the plant.
*Performs inventory cycle-counting based on direction from the Storeroom Supervisor, and enters corrections in SAP.
*Maintains a clean Storeroom environment, free of tripping hazards, etc.
*May be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, and various levels of noise.

Qualifications:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Develops and maintains good working relationships with coworkers, suppliers, contractors and plant personnel.
*Possess and apply basic mathematical skills, and understand and follow oral and written directions.
