As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist guests and tenants with clear communication, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, corridors, loading areas, parking lots, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, property damage, hazards, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, access control support, and/or conflict de-escalation as directed by post orders.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and participate in briefings and/or other site-specific training.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
