As a Security Guard - Armed - Retail Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related concerns. You will assist shoppers and staff with directions and incident reporting, support access control and loss prevention needs, and communicate clearly with site leaders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or tenants by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and requesting additional support as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, common areas, loading and receiving areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Control access to back-of-house and restricted areas, monitor cameras and/or entry points when assigned, and help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized entry through visible presence and communication.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or customer service interactions in written logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
