We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Relations Manager to join our team at Florida Blue. As a key member of our sales and retention team, you will build and maintain strong relationships with employer groups and agencies, providing strategic collaboration and support to drive enterprise sales and retention objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with aligned agencies and groups, and their business partners
  • Educate agencies on our sales processes, products, policies, and procedures
  • Communicate state and federal legislation impacts and assist agencies with implementing procedures
  • Act as a liaison between agencies, internal and external business partners, and Florida Blue
  • Manage resolution of escalated/complex issues and develop tactical plans to meet group needs
  • Support and coordinate retention processes, including periodic account meetings and analytical data reports

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related work experience in service, marketing, or sales, preferably in healthcare or employee benefits
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-15 Florida Health & Life (Including Annuities & Variable Contracts) Agent License and valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, requiring overnight stays
  • Ability to reside in the area where the position is housed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Florida Blue policies and procedures
  • Multi-lingual skills
  • Experience with SharePoint

Physical/Environmental Activities
Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Frequently May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions of cold, heat, wet, and humidity. Occasionally May be exposed to outdoor or warehouse conditions of loud noises, vibration, fumes, dust, odors, and mists. Occasionally Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, or other equipment.

To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.

Annualized Salary Range: $65,400 - $106,200

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $65,400 - $81,700

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
