This role is a strategic executive product leader responsible for defining and driving the Growth and Engagement Platform vision, strategy, and roadmap. This platform will provide the foundational services, APIs, and tools-including website infrastructure, content management systems, marketing automation, and AI services-that empower user growth, adoption, and retention across the enterprise. Operating with a "Think Big" mindset, this role drives innovation and strategic convergence to identify opportunities that leapfrog the market in service of the overall corporate strategy. They establish strong, consistent partnerships with senior leaders, build executive alignment, and serve as a trusted strategic partner to peers and business constituents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Discovery & Strategy / Customer Obsessed: Reimagine end-to-end customer experiences and develop durable long-term strategies for the Growth and Engagement Platform. Define the internal and external services, APIs, and components required to build a world-class platform, with a focus on leveraging AI/ML models for hyper-personalization, segmentation, and predictive analytics. Create an environment that encourages an experimental mindset and data-driven decision making.

Collaboration & Influence / Trusted Partner: Build executive alignment by serving as a strategic partner to peers and coordinate with key product teams across the organization with a single platform vision in mind. Evangelize the platform's capabilities, especially its AI/ML services, to drive adoption across all business units, while coaching team members to coordinate across shared capabilities.

Outcomes Orientated Delivery & Insights Driven: Leverage a holistic view of metrics to manage the portfolio, assess risk, track dependencies, and make trade-off decisions. Develop and nurture a culture of data-driven decision-making across teams, role modeling the use of data and judgment to lead through ambiguity and critical prioritizations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Talent Stewardship: Builds and manages a holistic talent strategy for the future, ensuring the product organization has the right competencies to deliver on the long-term Product Vision and Strategy.

  • Psychological Safety: Cultivates and advocates for an environment where psychological safety is foundational, empowering teams to assess and flag product risks without fear of retribution.

  • Strategic Topology: Partners with peer leaders to define and resource the appropriate team topology and interaction model to minimize friction and silos.

  • Executive Presence: Ability to manage up to VP levels and establish consistent partnerships with senior leaders across all enterprise organizations.

  • Champion of Culture: Establishes the organization as a magnet for product talent by championing the Product Operating Model (POM) and its culture externally.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
