What to Expect Program Managers within the AI Datacenter team work side by side with cross-functional teams tosupport the development and scaling of our AI Datacenter hardware. Teams include design (electrical,mechanical & firmware), supply chain and manufacturing, to name a few. They will lead complexprograms with limited up front guidance. The successful candidate for this position must have a broadbackground in engineering design and experience with program management. Must be a self-starterand able to figure out how to do things. What You'll Do Maintain a strong grasp of AI workloads, compute/storage/network requirements, and datacenter architecture to facilitate informed decision-making Ensure program goals, scope, and requirements are clearly defined by stakeholders, documented, and approved by stakeholders Create program roadmaps and detailed timeline outlining milestones, critical paths, and deliverables Lead engineering, hardware, networking, operations, and procurement teams to deliver infrastructure programs on time and within budget Manage scope and schedule changes to minimize impact on overall objectives Manage and track engineering sample demand and supply, coordinating with the supply chain and others to meet engineering needs Maintain open communication with all stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are understood and managed Monitor program progress and provide regular updates on status, including key performance metrics, challenges, and escalations Track and manage potential risks with mitigation and contingency plans to minimize program impact What You'll Bring Degree in Engineering (E.E./C.S) or Equivalent Experiience 5+ years experience in product development, ideally with product shipping experience in medium-to-high volume industry Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when required Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines Excellent written & verbal communication skills Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $96,800 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
