This is an onsite entry level project management support position. Will be onsite 5 days a week in Baltimore, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position provides a broad range of analytical and project support services to the Johns Hopkins Health System Supply Chain Industrial Engineering Team.

The general scope of the position includes, but is not limited to, using analytical tools and methods to report on operational and clinical performance, market trends and the competitive environment, and legislative and regulatory impact. The Project Analyst may also be assigned special projects as needed.

***this is not a 100% desk job- tasks may involve lifting boxes, pushing carts, etc.

The Project Analyst will:

* provide on site support with local teams- invenotry planning, operations, customer service

* organize projects and documentation,

* assist with workflow coordination, manage to do's

* vendor outreach

* support the Industrial Engineers I and II's

COMPETENCIES:

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. Master's degree in Business, Health Administration or other relevant field is preferred.

Work Experience: One year of experience in a professional environment where the required knowledge base and skills

Knowledge: Intermediate level of knowledge in spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentation, diagramming, and project management software is preferred.

* Basic knowledge of and/or experience in clinical or health operations is preferred.

* Basic knowledge of finance, operations, logistics, statistical and simulation modeling, administrative theory, process improvement and project management is beneficial.

Skills: Professional level of oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with staff at all levels of the organization.

* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

* Ability to solve problems and facilitate meeting.

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.: None required. Completion or certification of Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, Lean, or similar training preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 24.32/hour - Maximum 40.16/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
