Clariant is excited to welcome a Regional Key Account Manager for the Americas region, to support the Industrial Applications segment of the Care Chemicals business unit. In this role, you will have full top- line and Contribution, Margin, and Account (COMA) responsibility for selected Regional Key Accounts while driving growth for Clariant. The Industrial Applications segment spans lubricants, coatings, and specialty applications. This role serves as a vital bridge between our strategic priorities and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll oversee a large, diverse region and collaborate with talented colleagues spanning multiple functions including commercial, technical, procurement and supply chain across different countries, cultures, and management structures. Responsibilities

* Develop and implement Account Plans and strategies in alignment with internal stakeholders
* Maintain and expand regional key accounts with a focus on identifying and executing growth opportunities
* Scout, identify, and drive joint innovation projects and new business opportunities
* Define and coordinate technical support needs across application development, R&D, product development, and other technical teams
* Manage and monitor the opportunity funnel and introduce new product development opportunities
* Collaborate with Marketing to identify market trends and anticipate future industry changes
* Serve as an ambassador and expectation manager for key customers, ensuring their needs are clearly communicated internally
* Partner closely with Supply Chain to ensure customer requirements, service levels, and delivery expectations are met
* Maintain customer innovation roadmaps and Regional Key Account plans
* Navigate and adapt to changing customer requirements across multiple geographies
* Coordinate regional account initiatives while managing regional Key Account responsibilities

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science or engineering discipline; business degrees also considered with relevant professional experience
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roles, managing complex accounts and fostering long-term customer partnerships
* Must be able to travel up to 60% (domestic and international) to support customer engagement and account strategy
* Fluent in English, Spanish fluency is a plus
* Position can be based in U.S.A. or Mexico
