Description

Acara Solutions seeks a Senior Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator for our client in Charleroi, PA.

  • The Senior Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator will perform project tasks/assignments of moderately complex nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Basically, you'll perform fabrication or inspection functions in a research, production, or pre-production environment by building or integrating hardware for prototypes, assemblies, and large complex systems, building RF, multi-function cables and harnesses, and soldering ribbons/strip line skills for RF performance.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of Fiber optic splicing and assembly experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Manufacturing.
  • Certification in Manufacturing.
  • Ability to perform more advanced loading and configuration of customer/standard software on customer devices.
  • Ability to perform more advanced fabrication and marking.
  • Distinct communication and computer skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Statistics and SPC applications.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to multitask.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
