We're seeking a seasoned Junior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team supporting federal and public sector initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with clients and internal delivery teams to elicit business requirements, document current and future-state processes, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensure Salesforce solutions align with mission, policy, and operational needs. The Salesforce Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Junior Salesforce Business Analyst: $90-115k

Pay commensurate with experience.

Junior Salesforce Business Analyst Responsibilities Include:

  • Support end-to-end Salesforce delivery across core platform capabilities, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom CRM solutions, with a focus on business analysis and requirements management.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for business stakeholders, building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout discovery and delivery phases.

  • Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to elicit business, functional, and reporting requirements.

  • Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and use cases to inform solution design and implementation.

  • Translate business needs into clear, well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements aligned with Agile delivery methodologies.

  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects to ensure requirements are clearly understood and solutions meet stakeholder expectations.

  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing prioritization in partnership with Product Owners and project leadership.

  • Validate requirements and solution designs through walkthroughs, prototypes, and iterative stakeholder feedback.

  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario development, execution support, defect triage, and final approval.

  • Ensure solutions comply with federal governance, security, compliance, and data standards.

  • Support change management activities, including documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Junior Salesforce Business Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or CRM Consultant, with a minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience.

  • Experience supporting Salesforce implementations in federal, public sector, or other highly regulated environments.

  • Solid business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, user story development, and acceptance criteria definition.

  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid Agile delivery teams.

  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements without direct responsibility for configuration or development.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities sufficient to guide solution discussions (hands-on configuration not required).

  • Experience supporting programs with multiple stakeholders and diverse user groups.

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or other relevant Salesforce certification preferred.

  • Additional certifications preferred, including Business Analysis, Agile, or Salesforce Consultant-level credentials.

  • Willingness to maintain and assign Salesforce certifications to Cherokee Federal and pursue additional certifications as required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
