Operating at the intersection of customer experience, business strategy, and technical innovation, this role will combine AAC's proprietary land intelligence with modern digital lending solutions tailored for agriculture.

You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, defining user journeys, prioritizing features based on customer feedback and data, ensuring land intelligence capabilities are intuitively embedded into the user experience, and translating business requirements into a best-in-class digital lending process.

This role will be part of a new team that seeks to leverage the best qualities of a small agile startup with the presence and stability of a successful market leader. The role demands a startup mindset, balancing bold vision with disciplined execution, while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Deliver a product vision that provides valuable land intelligence and accelerates the lending experience.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable product initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Champion customer/user-centered design and ensure product decisions are informed by customer feedback, behavioral data, and market insights.
  • Leverage modern tools to build functional UI/UX mockups and high-fidelity prototypes, accelerating learning and development cycles.
  • Translate validated prototypes and user feedback into rigorous Product Requirement Documents and granular user stories.
  • Oversee product analytics, feedback loops, and continuous iteration to improve user experience and product performance.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and innovation opportunities.
  • Align product initiatives with marketing and business teams to drive cohesive go-to-market execution.
  • Partner with the Head of Architecture to integrate AI-powered automation and security requirements into cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Partner with risk management professionals to optimize within AAC's board approved risk appetite.
  • Facilitate alignment across internal stakeholders and external technology partners to drive platform scalability and integration.
  • Manage the product relationship with key platform vendors, ensuring their roadmaps align with AAC's strategic needs and that deliverables meet our rigorous UX/UI standards.
  • Develop and support go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing, lending, and alliance teams.
  • Manage product-related budgets, cost centers, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to AAC's policies, compliance standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:

This is a leadership position with responsibility for the direct supervision of a small team (potentially contract resources) focused on user analytics, market research, and user experience design enhancement. The role is expected to make independent decisions and works under the general direction of the Executive Head of Product Strategy.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ten (10) years previous experience in product leadership is required, ideally within digital mortgage, automated commercial lending, or high-growth fintech platforms.
  • Strong UX/UI sensibility with a proven track record of shipping market-winning, customer-centric products in collaboration with design and engineering teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions within delegated authorities and time restraints is required.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and be a driver to deliver quality solutions that provide meaningful customer value.
