Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Administrative Assistant for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

The temporary Talent Management assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Talent Management team in the department of Alumni Relations and Development. Key responsibilities include scheduling meetings and managing calendars in Outlook, creating and distributing Qualtrics surveys, and coordinating logistics for candidate interviews. This role will also support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. In addition to administrative duties, the position will assist with creating graphics and visual content using Adobe Express and will maintain and update the Alumni Relations and Development Careers webpage.

This temporary position is scheduled for 30 hours per week, working Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications Required:

Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications; experience creating basic surveys in Qualtrics or similar platforms; ability to coordinate logistics and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism; familiarity with Adobe Express or comparable graphic design tools; ability to update website content (training can be provided); customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with candidates, staff, and stakeholders.
