HIV RN Case Manager

To provide comprehensive Registered Nurse Case Management and nursing care to maintain/improve the quality of life for individuals living with HIV. Coordinate comprehensive healthcare. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community agencies. Independently develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate healthcare education in an ambulatory setting.

Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program. Must be currently licensed in the State of Wisconsin. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Experience: One year of general nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting. HIV experiences preferred.

Expertise: Excellent clinical, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Effective organizational skills and computer literacy are critical. Ability to be self-governed and to work with diverse constituencies within the community, including health care professionals, community-based organizations, and governmental agencies.

Language: Comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate information and ideals.

Travel: A valid driver's license and a reliable insured vehicle are required. Must be willing to travel locally and out of state.
