We're looking for a Night Shift Safety Lead to join our EPC Project in the nuclear power plant environment in Blackfoot, Idaho.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage and develop field support EHS teams.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships supporting DZMC and customer initiatives
  • Responsible for the development and execution of a world-class safety organization based on alignment of programs, processes, metrics and communications. This includes initiating continuous improvement EH&S initiatives and enhancing EH&S processes and IT systems.
  • Partner with operations to validate full compliance of DZMC project sites with all applicable DZMC processes and procedures, local, state and federal standards and regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide EH&S related training at jobsites and corporate locations as required



The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

  • Prior experience and success in a supervisory EH&S leadership role with oversight at the utility level, and previous safety experience at the plant level. Power, Process & Industrial and Construction experience preferred in both a union and non-union environment
  • Team leadership and development experience.
  • Subject matter expertise with OSHA and all applicable EH&S laws, regulations, and statutes. Subject matter expertise in behavior based safety programs and practices
  • High degree of professionalism and business acumen with the ability to interface and develop strong internal and external relationships with senior management and executive leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and platform speaking skills)



What you need to bring to the table:

  • Preferred College Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years managing an EH&S program/organization for a similar size company (preferably in a related industry) with demonstrated promotability
  • Industry recognized EHS related certifications such as CHST, OHST; CSP or ASP in progress desirable.
  • Process & Industrial and Construction Industry experience, Environmental Program Management experience
  • Experience working under an ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program



In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $54,000- $154,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
