Role overview

The Senior Director, Contractor Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy for the flooring contractor channel, driving revenue growth, loyalty, and brand preference with key contractor partners. This role builds a scalable engagement model, aligns internal functions around contractor needs, and serves as the executive voice of the contractor within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and own the long-term contractor partnership strategy, including segmentation, targeting, and value propositions for priority contractor groups.
  • Lead a high-performing team focused on contractor development, engagement, and enablement across key territories and segments.
  • Establish annual goals, KPIs, and scorecards for contractor performance (revenue, mix, share of wallet, loyalty, program participation).
  • Optimize Elite, Platinum and REWARDS contractor programs (rebates, incentives, training, certification, co-marketing, lead sharing) to drive growth and retention.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership to align field sales resources and activities around high-value contractor relationships.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create contractor-specific campaigns, content, and events that support specification, conversion, and pull-through.
  • Work with Product Management to represent contractor needs in product design, installation systems, and packaging of solutions.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Technical Services, and Operations to improve contractor experience across ordering, delivery, installation support, and claims.
  • Oversee and align Mannington Commercial's ProSolutions Turnkey Installation group, ensuring seamless coordination of project estimation, installation management, scheduling, materials planning, and national installer partnerships to deliver a consistent, highquality turnkey experience for Strategic Accounts and key clients.
  • Build executive-level relationships with top contractor organizations, groups, and associations; represent the company at key industry events.
  • Develop and manage the contractor partnership budget, including program investments, events, and enablement tools.
  • Implement a structured business review process with priority contractor partners, including joint planning and performance tracking.
  • Use data and analytics to identify growth opportunities, manage channel conflict, and continuously refine the contractor strategy.
  • Champion a contractor-centric culture internally, ensuring teams understand the installer's role in influencing product choice and brand preference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, channel management, or partnerships, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience working with contractor, installer, or trade partner channels in building materials, construction products, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of building partner programs that drive measurable revenue growth and loyalty.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, rebates, incentives, and contract structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at executive levels.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills; comfortable using data to drive decisions.

Reporting structure and location

  • Reports to: Senior Vice President of Sales.
  • Location: [Remote, with regular travel to key markets, contractors, industry events and Calhoun, Atlanta, Georgia.

Success metrics

  • Revenue growth and profitability through contractor channel and REWARDS program.
  • Increased share of wallet and loyalty among priority contractor partners.
  • Contractor program adoption and engagement.
  • Improvement in contractor satisfaction and net promoter scores (NPS or equivalent).
  • Reduction in friction points across the contractor experience (service, quality, claims, logistics).
