THE POSITION

Pennsylvania Creative Industries, powered by Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), is looking for a Coordinator of Visibility and Digital Strategy to manage the agency's digital communications program. This involves developing content and ensuring adherence to Commonwealth standards and web presence. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Coordinator of Visibility and Digital Strategy, you will be responsible for translating the agency's strategic framework and key areas of investment into public facing digital communications and promotions. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring that the agency's digital presence is innovative, effective, and aligned with the Commonwealth's communications mission. You will have the opportunity to promote Pennsylvania Creative Industries as the state's lead creative industries agency; elevate the sector's role in Pennsylvania's economy and quality of life; and manage the agency's digital platforms, branding, and public visibility initiatives. Core responsibilities include:

  • Championing Pennsylvania Creative Industries as the Commonwealth's central creative industries agency
  • Developing materials and strategies to promote creative industries as a vital driver of economic growth, community well-being, and opportunity
  • Establishing and overseeing the agency's digital presence, including website, social media, and branding, ensuring clear communication of mission, vision, and objectives
  • Supporting the planning and execution of public events that advance the agency's visibility

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office on Monday and Tuesday of each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of professional communications experience and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience

Additional Requirements:

  • You must have at least two years of experience in digital communications strategy, planning, writing, and editing.
  • You must have at least two years of professional experience with social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • You must have at least two years of professional experience using graphic design and video production software.
  • You must have experience planning or helping to plan at least one successful public facing event, announcement, and/or visibility initiative.
  • You must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • You must have at least two years of experience designing, implementing, and managing digital strategies and projects.
  • You must have strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • You must have at least one year of experience building and maintaining effective working relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
