Work Schedule: Full-time, 100%, day shift. Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 - 3:30pm, 40 hours per week. No weekends required. We are seeking a Medical Equipment and Supply Coordinator to:
- Manage departmental supplies by monitoring inventory, submitting purchase orders for supplies and equipment; coordinate the availability, maintenance, cleaning, and serviceability of medical equipment and supplies within the department; provide oversight of departmental fleet vehicles in collaboration with UW Health Transportation Services.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, defective equipment, hazard alert notices, and equipment recalls promptly, working with other UW Health departments and/or external vendors as needed, to ensure safety and satisfaction of patients, visitors, and staff.
- Install and maintain various devices used to interface critical medical equipment data into the UW Health electronic medical record system.
Ensure medical equipment involved in or suspected to be involved with adverse patient interactions is processed in accordance with UW Health policies and procedures. - Demonstrate correct setup and operation of equipment including integrated related systems used during procedures to clinical staff as required.
- Monitor inventory levels and equipment needs including replacement parts and urgently needed items; requisition, verify, and expedite orders to ensure timely availability.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required
Work Experience
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting Required
- 1 year of experience in supply or equipment management Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license issued by the individual's state of residence
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Personal Vehicle, Patient/Visitor Vehicle, or standard UW Health Fleet Vehicle Upon Hire Required
