Front Load Driver - Pasco West (New Port Richey, FL) Starting Pay: $25/hr + Annual Increases & Bonus Opportunities Schedule: Monday-Friday, 45-55 hours/week (must be able to work holidays) Are you a safetyfocused driver looking for a consistent, fulltime career with excellent pay, benefits, and the opportunity to be home every night? Pasco West New Port Richey, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a dependable and motivated Front Load Driver to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. No prior waste industry experience? No problem. Waste experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person. What You'll Do In this role, you'll be responsible for: Safely operating a frontload garbage truck on assigned routes Reading route sheets and servicing all customers listed or assigned by dispatch Performing routine inspections and maintenance checks (fluids, tires, safety equipment) Handling physically demanding work, including loading/unloading without a helper Operating hydraulic hand controls to lift and empty refuse containers Maintaining courteous, professional interactions with customers Assisting with additional duties as needed to support daily operations Working Conditions This position involves: Heavy physical activity, including lifting/pushing/pulling 50+ lbs Exposure to outdoor weather (heat, rain, humidity), fumes, and vibrations Working around moving mechanical parts and maintaining strict safety awareness Moderate noise levels typical of industrial and outdoor work environments What You Need to Qualify Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement Ability to read, write, and communicate in English High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 1 year of related driving experience Basic understanding of truck components to complete pre and posttrip inspections How to Apply To be considered, please complete an online application at: www.careers.wasteconnections.com Select the position you're interested in and follow the instructions provided.
