Position Title: Logistics Lead Wage: $25.00 - $27.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Logistics Lead at a company in St. Francis, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Logistics Lead Responsibilities: - Lead and support daily inbound and outbound logistics activities, including scheduling and carrier coordination - Provide guidance and oversight to logistics staff to ensure service, quality, and performance expectations are met - Serve as the primary contact for transportation carriers and third-party logistics partners - Ensure shipments comply with customer routing guides, company policies, and regulatory requirements - Monitor logistics performance, resolve shipment issues, and escalate concerns as needed - Coordinate closely with warehouse, planning, procurement, and customer service teams - Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation and system transactions in TMS, WMS, and ERP systems - Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics efficiency, cost, and service Requirements for Logistics Lead: - 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution; lead or supervisory experience preferred - Working knowledge of transportation, freight coordination, and warehouse operations - Experience using logistics systems (TMS/WMS/ERP) preferred - Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work in a warehouse and office environment - Ability to stand, walk, sit, and move throughout the facility as needed - Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation - Ability to use computers, handheld devices, and standard office and warehouse equipment - Visual and manual ability sufficient to read documents, operate systems, and monitor operations - Ability to work varying hours as business needs require IND010 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
