Position Title: Facilities Technician
Wage: $21.00 - $26.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Facilities Technician at a company in Franklin, WI. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Facilities Technician Responsibilities: - Perform walk-through audits of building facilities and systems to ensure proper operating conditions - Provide onsite support for equipment breakdowns and repair needs (ex. air compressors, boiler, wastewater treatment system, fire systems, HVAC, pumps, chillers, etc.) - Support and execute preventative maintenance program and support plans to ensure facilities support equipment operate properly and efficiently (ex. air compressors, boiler, wastewater treatment, fire systems, HVAC, pumps, chillers, security system etc.) - Execute assigned work orders in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to ensure effective and timely completion - Support onsite audits and regulatory inspections (ex. fire, building, boiler, wastewater treatment system, pest control, etc.) - Support and supplement contracted services (ex. cleaning services, vending, groundskeeping, parking lots, building security and access, snow removal, landscaping, etc.) - Perform facility-related maintenance work (ex. painting, carpentry, masonry work, minor dry wall work, floor tile replacement / repair, crack filling, grinding, installation of signage, ceiling tiles, counters and shelving etc.) - Order parts and maintain required documentation as required Requirements for Facilities Technician: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least two years of working experience in facility maintenance preferred - Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry preferred - Able to use common handheld power tools - Able to work with minimal supervision - Able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently - Able to understand and follow directions as given and intended - Customer service oriented and able to work cooperatively in a team environment - Able and willing to support occasional off-shift work - Able to work with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
