The Senior Director of External Communications will lead AccentCare's external communications strategy and function to strengthen brand reputation, amplify thought leadership, and engage key stakeholders across media, industry, and external community channels. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated external communications plans that align with business objectives and position AccentCare as a trusted leader in post-acute care.

If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 10+ years in external communications, public relations, or corporate communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Managed and mentored teams.
• Proven success in healthcare or highly regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities:

As a Sr Director External Communications, you will:

• Highly developed skills in communications writing and editing materials, and translating complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
• Background in creating and advancing the company style guide and brand guidelines.
• Issues and crisis communications expertise.
• Social media expertise.
• Demonstrated success using data, analytics, or AI tools in communications.
