Night Hospitalist

Northeast Medical Group, Inc. seeks Night Hospitalists to work at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Night Hospitalists will provide comprehensive medical care in internal medicine to adult inpatients through admissions, cross coverage and discharge; contact patients Primary Care physician about in-hospital / follow-up care; provide Primary Care physician hospital diagnosis; and new prescriptions / treatment. Night Hospitalists will cover evenings, weekends, and will assume Attending Physician role during occasional weekend day shifts.

Candidates must have a M.D. or D.O. (foreign equivalent accepted); CT physician license prior to employment commencing; completion of Internal Medicine residency program; and BE/BC in Internal Medicine.
