As a Security Officer - Bank Perimeter Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. You will document observations, assist visitors and employees with clear communication, and support a welcoming environment. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Control access to the facility by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, ATM and/or night depository areas, and perimeter doors to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and other security-related equipment; investigate alerts and report irregular conditions in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, suspicious activity, and alarms; request assistance from emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
- Complete detailed written reports and maintain accurate logs regarding patrol activity, incidents, access control actions, and policy violations.
- Support opening and closing procedures by conducting walkthroughs, checking doors and controlled areas, and confirming required conditions are met per post orders.
- Provide clear directions and de-escalation support to resolve conflicts and/or disruptive behavior in a professional manner while following site policies.
- Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, site contacts, and local first responders as needed to support incident resolution and continuity of operations.
- Participate in required training, follow post orders, and use professional judgement to apply security-related procedures consistently across varying working conditions at the location.
Minimum Requirements: - Security Experience - 1+ Years.
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
