COHO Technology Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team and support our customer at the NSA in Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Lay out and measure work to determine pipe placement using blueprints, drawings, and written specifications. Cut, thread, and prepare various sizes and types of pipe using hand tools, power tools, oxyacetylene torches, and pipe-cutting machines. Bend pipe using hand-operated or power-driven equipment. Assemble and install piping systems, including securing pipes to hangers and fittings. Perform maintenance, installation, and repair of water, steam, gas, and other piping systems. Conduct standard shop calculations related to pressure, flow, and pipe sizing requirements. Perform testing and inspections to ensure installed systems meet required specifications and safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair piping and pipefitting systems as needed. Qualifications: Knowledge / Experience: 3 years' experience minimum, preferably within a shipyard environment. License requirements:Journeyman Pipefitter. Physical Requirements:Able to lift up to 50lbs. Background: Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a government DBIDS for access onto Naval Base.
