COHO Technology Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team and support our customer at the NSA in Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):




  • Lay out and measure work to determine pipe placement using blueprints, drawings, and written specifications.
  • Cut, thread, and prepare various sizes and types of pipe using hand tools, power tools, oxyacetylene torches, and pipe-cutting machines.
  • Bend pipe using hand-operated or power-driven equipment.
  • Assemble and install piping systems, including securing pipes to hangers and fittings.
  • Perform maintenance, installation, and repair of water, steam, gas, and other piping systems.
  • Conduct standard shop calculations related to pressure, flow, and pipe sizing requirements.
  • Perform testing and inspections to ensure installed systems meet required specifications and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair piping and pipefitting systems as needed.



Qualifications:



  • Knowledge / Experience: 3 years' experience minimum, preferably within a shipyard environment.
  • License requirements:Journeyman Pipefitter.
  • Physical Requirements:Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Background: Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a government DBIDS for access onto Naval Base.


Position Pay Range
$50 $54 USD
