As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol Wekdays in Toledo, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will interact with clients and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of any unusual activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Maintain a visible armed presence while on patrol to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
