Salary Grade: T25

A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

Pay Range: $41,250- $60,000 (annually)

Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator at Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and disposal of freight, furniture, and equipment. This role involves overseeing the loading docks, managing traffic and parking logistics, and providing supervision of the mailroom staff. The Logistics Coordinator interacts with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Required Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree and at least one (1) year of work-related experience in building and/or facilities services. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage high-volume shipments and deliveries.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.

- Excellent communication skills to work with vendors, delivery personnel, and internal staff.

- Ability to operate loading dock equipment such as a pallet jack.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred
Proven experience in logistics management or loading dock operations.

This position will be on-site.
