Widener University's College of Arts & Sciences is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach Psychology courses. Our immediate needs are for Introductory Psychology. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 to 3 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day. Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials, be available to meet with students outside of regularly scheduled class time, and provide support and guidance to students. Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in Psychology, previous teaching experience, and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling. As openings occur, applicants will be hired from this pool.
