Station Supervisor IFP Overview:

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Station Supervisor for Laughlin Airport to be responsible for quality assurance and training of the ground handling vendor, directly oversees the Laughlin based Ground Service Representatives, collaborates with other internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a professional rapport with department heads of casino flight programs
  • Oversee quality assurance and training of ground handling vendor
  • Maintain and distribute Laughlin airport schedule to all stakeholders
  • Develops Ground Service Representatives to highest level of service
  • Manages schedule, training, and payroll of Ground Service Representatives
  • Manage disruptions and customer complaints
  • Act as a liaison for other Sun Country Airlines operational departments as needed
  • Works closely with Sr. Manager of Charter Sourcing and Operations to ensure contractual obligations are met for Riverside, Caesars, and other programs as contracted
  • Works closely with other operational departments to ensure compliance, training, and safety and security requirements are met
  • Attend airport required meetings such as tenant, planning, and disaster preparedness
  • Attend TSA meetings, and emergency plan
  • Reasonable suspicion or post-accident drug/alcohol testing
  • Ensure outstation supplies are sent for Riverside, Caesars and others as needed
  • Assist with other departmental directives and initiatives as necessary
  • Any other duties assigned by management


Required Qualifications:



  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Five or more years of airline experience
  • Strong customer focus, leadership skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous management experience


Compensation:

Pay range: $43,000 - $53,000 USD per hour. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.

Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Work Location:

Laughlin Bullhead Airport (onsite)

Supervisory Responsibility:

IFP based Ground Service Representatives

Work Environment:

This job operates in an airport terminal. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may become high at various times.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Additional Notes:

Must be able to obtain IFP SIDA badge.
