Shift: Weekend, Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Location: Faribault North

Your Responsibilities:

  • Read work orders or follows verbal instructions toascertainmaterials or containers to bemoved
  • Move items into and out of storage, kittingareaand/or production areas
  • Follow all safety rules and instructions, maintain 5S standards of work area and performs other functions on and off production line asrequired
  • Maintain necessary information and records for inventory locations on the computer and ensuresappropriate paperflow with the materials/goods throughout theprocess
  • Perform cycle counting functions. Select containers for parts or products. Pack and seal parts,coilsor sections into or onto fabricated containers or skids
  • Load materials into/onto trucks andinstallsstrapping,bracingor padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Complete shipping or receiving reports andrecords
  • Operate picking systems, barcode scanners, PIT, power material-handlingequipmentand trucks to move material and finishedproducts
  • Take part in the training process for all new team members. Provide inputregardingthe performance of new team members. Participate with other team members on safety,processand quality improvement teams. Work with team members,supervisorsand support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements. Perform other duties asassigned
  • Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent itemsregardingsafety,qualityand production
  • Responsible formaintainingthe 5s program to ensure a clean workarea
  • Follow and understandHOMESafe, Personal Choice andcompany safety manualrequirements.
  • Identifyand rework defective work pieces tocomply withquality standards.
  • Ability to use handtools
  • Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License
  • All other duties asassigned

Your Qualifications:

  • The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
  • The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to read and understand written English.
  • High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
