Job Description




As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Kihei, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will support tenants and visitors, while your communication skills will help address concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the commercial real estate location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual observations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities for recordkeeping and follow-up.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing guidance during unexpected events.
  • Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
