As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail space and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a positive atmosphere.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as required.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with security-related investigations as directed.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Collaborate with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns and promote a welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
